Hi Darlings! I’m just getting over my crazy hair show weekend that I experienced on last week. I’ve worked so many hair shows that I’ve lost count. Usually I’m racing to get home but since I was already in the downtown area I decided to try Busy Bee. Keep in mind that I have been hearing all sort of amazing things about them. Let’s just say that their reputation exceeds them. I met up with my younger sister and we decided to give them a try. HELL WHY NOT? What did we have to lose? We were already starving. Disregard my mouth being stuffed but their corn muffins were delicious!
Of course I was interested in how the food tasted once after arriving and finding that there was a 45 minute wait. Yes! You heard me correctly! 45 minutes which eventually turned into an hour so I went to have a seat in my car until it was our turn. Did I mention that Busy Bee is FREAKING SMALL? I would say quaint but in reality it’s freaking small. However, that in no way takes away from the ambiance once you step foot inside. The outside is a whole different story but if you’ve been following me for a while or have the privilege to actually know me in “Real Life” than you already know that I AM ALWAYS up for an ADVENTURE!
An hour later we were being seated. Keep in mind that the restaurant is very small so you don’t always have the option to sit wherever you please which meant we were seated dead smack in the middle. LITERALLY! Everyone knows that I don’t travel anywhere without my camera and yes I pulled it right out in the middle of the restaurant where we sat. The wait once inside wasn’t long and of course this “Southern Belle” ordered fried chicken! Hell what else did you expect me to try on my first visit. I also ordered their macaroni and cheese & broccoli and cheese.
Needless to say that not only was this place jammed packed but the food was DELICIOUS! Heck I’m drooling just writing about my experience to share with all of you.
I can’t forget about the mouth watering corn muffins backed from scratch!
