TAKING A GLANCE AT THE 2019 HYUNDAI SANTA FE
Hey Darlings! I’m just getting settled in from a quick road trip with the family. It’s been a crazy week! Last Thursday I had the opportunity to kick off my weekend with an amazing lunch and learn with Hyundai.
Hyundai, a Korean company, reborn in the USA has sold over half the cars made the U.S. They have created a technologically sophisticated manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama, engineering facilities in Michigan, plus design, research, and testing grounds in California. All of which provides around 5,000 jobs for American automotive workers. Adding to that total more than 32,000 employees at Hyundai dealerships and 6,000 workers employed by our various vendors, and they’ve created quite the micro economy.
I was excited to attend my second automotive clubs second monthly meeting. The September meeting was hosted at HopStix again and the ambiance was still amazing. This monthly meeting wasn’t as large of a crowd as our July meeting but it was perfect for a very intimate lunch with the brand. The meeting started with a quick introduction, followed by raffle tickets being passed out and then lunch. I love that each meeting that we’ve hosted at HopStix consist of us having the opportunity to try different selections from their menu.
As the lunch continued we enjoyed an amazing presentation from Hyundai. I was excited to learn that Atlanta was so privileged to be amongst Hyundai’s stops as they continue to visit different areas presenting the new features available in the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe.
The members were engaging and Hyundai was excited to let us in on a few insider details that they have in the pipeline for the brand coming up very soon. As a mother one feature stood out to me and that’s their unique spin on the child safety lock. Hyundai has literally taken technology to another level. Instead of the child safety control being on the rear door, Hyundai has added the button on the driver’s door so now the driver has total control without ever leaving their seat. Further more Hyundai has added a technological alert on your dashboard that alerts you when a car is approaching after you have released the button for your child to depart. How awesome is that?
I also loved the amount of room that the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe provides which give me comfort in knowing that there is enough leg room in the back for my 22-year-old son. I watched as numerous male members that were my sons height and taller take turns sitting in the back and they all raved about the space.
Having extra secret departments in the already huge trunk is an added bonus for me as a mom. I can store items under the top of the trunk and have additional space in the trunk for more items. This is especially important on the days that I head to the market.
The front seat area of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is nothing short of a luxury vehicle in my opinion. The Hyundai houses all of the amenities and extras that drivers crave.
The Santa Fe is a beauty isn’t it? The price is $39,905. It’s a bit pricey but the extras that are included plus all of the innovative technology that Hyundai has worked diligently to provide to its consumers definitely make the price look appropriate. Unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to test drive it last week so I can’t speak to the comfort driving it BUT hopefully in the upcoming weeks Hyundai will allow us to test drive and give you our thoughts.
