I have been in ministry for a very long time. I have been in both the capacity as a member not actively working in ministry (which never last for long) as well as a leader working basically full-time in ministry aiding the pastors in the furthering of the gospel. I can’t say that I AM a bible scholar like some of my friends because they literally know the book from beginning to end and that’s not where my level of bible study stands but I do know enough to sustain me as I’m on my journey to learn as much as I possibly can. With that being said I have definitely had my fair share of Bibles in every version under the sun and the moment that I had the opportunity to review the (in) courage bible I must say that I was indeed intrigued.
Honestly I can’t recall ever reading a Christian Standard Bible and if I did perhaps during that time in my life I was still stuck on the King James Version (KJV) that my parents always read. It’s funny how even as an adult we still carry the learned behaviors of our parents. The moment that I opened the (in) courage Devotional Bible I was immediately in love.
