Disclosure: I received a copy of “100 Devotions – Faith Forward Family Devotional” from FrontGate to conduct this review. All Opinions shared in this post are mine.
It’s always been important to me to ensure that my kids no matter their ages make prayer time apart of their life. When I discovered the Faith Forward Family Devotional I knew immediately that it was the perfect devotional for my family. We all live very busy lives and with the daily hustle and bustle it’s very important that we take out the time daily to have family devotional time.
The kids have been in church from the very moment that they were in my belly. I guess its very safe to say that I’ve been serving in ministry for a long periodical time (that’s what my son says LOL!) I loved that the devotional started off with a Letter To Parents explaining how the book will serve as a valuable asset to our family. I’m sure that its very evident that I AM and have been a lover of reading all of my life.
The book consist of 100 devotionals. The book was a fav from first sight. I love how much effort was put into the design of the cover and packaging. The book is also a very easy read which is perfect for all ages. The format of the book and the flow of the lessons are amazing.
Each devotion begins with a biblical scripture followed by questions, a lesson and stories. There’s a section titled “Let’s Discuss Together” this is where the kids and I have a discussion on the devotion. Lastly there’s a section titled “Let’s Pray Together” and this rounds up our study time as we end with a very strong prayer together.
