***I was provided a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE from Drive STI. All opinions expressed in this post are my own.***
A few weeks ago the kids and I had the opportunity to test drive the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage for a week. As you may know I have driven one before a few years ago and that particular one was perfect for a college student (Click here to read). I was excited to see that the 2018 Mirage is more like a family car. Although it did not have a third row seat like my 11-year-old son obsesses over it provides plenty of room for a family of 3-5. Actually 5 if you have perhaps two smaller kids and a preteen but all in all I was really pleased with the inside space.
The interior is perfect for a long road trip and although it didn’t have leather seats which I was sort of happy for because it’s a HOT summer the feel of the seats were perfect for long distance driving. I had the opportunity to test drive right at the beginning of the kids summer vacation so it was the perfect time to take them for a few joy rides. Just ask my 22-year-old who opted to be chauffeured to a few basketball practices.
As with every vehicle that I test drive there is always a fun adventure that happens to manifest. While cruising throughout the week in the 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage I was invited to be apart of the first Chick-Fil-A Mom Panel at the Chick-Fil-A Headquarters. I’m actually one of the first moms to join the group since its creation a few years ago it was exciting to have the opportunity to visit their headquarters to get an exclusive look behind the scenes with key members of the organization.
You know your official when you grab your credentials. Needless to say that the ride was smooth as I cruised into Head Quarters.
The day was nothing short of amazing! It was great to have some adult time with fellow moms and just enjoy a day without the kids.
When I arrived back to the car I was glad that the seats were not leather because you already know that in the Georgia heat my legs would be sticking to the seats. Which leads to the top 10 11 features about the Mirage:
- 4 way adjustable driver seat (perfect for those days when my back acts crazy)
- Driver and Passenger side sun visors with driver’s side vanity mirror, lid and ticket/insurance holder.
- Rearview camera
- Apple Car Play
- Steering wheel audio and phone controls
- Power windows and locks
- Hill Start Assist
- Steering wheel voice commands
- Anti-Lock Braking System
- Great MPH 35/City & 41/HWY
- Spacious truck

I was pleasantly pleased with the Mirage and as stated earlier this one is in my opinion definitely more suited for a family vehicle. In fact I’m the market for a new vehicle and I just added this one to my list! Stay tuned for our next adventure!
