This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Chef Rob’s Caribbean Café & Upscale Lounge making their dent in the Atlanta Restaurant and Night Life. What better day to celebrate than on Jamaican Independence Day! Chef Rob’s Caribbean Café opened its doors on July 21, 2006 in Sandy Springs, GA. The moment that they opened their doors you could expect to experience a different ambiance that allow you to take a walk into an authentic Jamaican restaurant. C Each guest is greeted with a smile and while dining will always enjoy some of the most amazing reggae music in the world along with Chef’s fine cuisine that’s sure to tantalize your palette.
Chef Rob kicked off his 10 Year Anniversary by pulling out the grills to prepare food right in front of his guest while continuing to fill outgoing catering guest and celebrating. The authentic herbs and spices that lingered in the air took me back to Jamaica having dinner with my Father on our veranda soaking in the beauty of Jamaica.
The anniversary celebration was planned and executed by S.T.E.P.S. Events Planning Firm led by CEO, Jamahl King. Chef Rob rolled out the red carpet, wowed guest with an authentic Steel Drum Band, Carnival Dancers, fresh custard ice cream from Taste Vintage and a photo booth from SocialXposure. McIvy Media executed all social media and planning the Influencer Collaboration for the Media Tasting & Meeting with Chef Rob with some of Atlanta’s most influential Foodies & Lifestyle Influencers. Among those in attendance were The Sistah Chick, Eating With Erica, Shana Was Here, My Hart Ent, Jehan Can Cook, Love Milla, I’m That Photo Chick and Freddy O. The Influencers were served appetizers, their choice of an entrée, dessert and drinks of their choice.
