Eclectic Bistro & Bar has opened its doors to offer guests the newest dining experience in Midtown! On Sunday, April 12, 2015 I had the opportunity to be among one of the first guest to have been apart of their Sunday Brunch launch. What a great start for Spring! The spring menu, created by Chef Justin Caldarella features Contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on ingredients sourced locally and can be enjoyed in Eclectic’s main dining room or relaxed outdoor patio. I chose to dine on the patio and the view was simply amazing!!
I had the opportunity to speak with Chef Caldarella and I learned that he was responsible for designing the new menu that features some of the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients. I am a true Southern Belle and although I love my brunch staples I must say that the menu options cater to every ones needs. Guest will find item options like the 6-cheese Seafood Grits and Eggs Benedict, Schnitzel & Waffles, Huevos Rancheros, Smoked Salmon Benedict or perhaps a small sharable plate option like the Lobster Mango Ceviche or Insalata.
The Lobster Mango Ceviche made me feel like I was back home in Jamaica. The taste was so fresh yet sweet! OMG! I will be traveling home in a few weeks and this is by far the closes I have gotten to an authentic Jamaica taste! Needless to say where I will be spending my Sundays!
Hey a Southern Belle like myself can never turn down shrimp and grits. We’ll these are actually 6-Cheese Shrimp and Grits which makes it even better! Lord I am in heaven! I am going to have to do so many ab exercises and yoga poses to work off all of this delicious food.
Let’s not forget about the brunch cocktails which include the Bottomless Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Royal Combier Bellini and Organic Cucumber Vodka Bloody Mary to name a few.
Eclectic Bistro & Bar will serve brunch every Sunday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.
