Family Dollar Fabulous 2015

Family Dollar hosted their 3rd Annual Fabulous event here in Atlanta on October 6-7th with 41 VIP Bloggers/Vloggers that were selected over a years time to attend THE EVENT OF THE YEAR! To date this was the Biggest Family Dollar FABULOUS event has created for the Bloggers. I along with 40 fellow VIP Natural hair, Fashion & Beauty Bloggers & Vloggers started our day with an amazing breakfast before we were all loaded up to head to our first destination, a store visit to a local Family Dollar. While we were on the tour bus the representatives from the PR company and Family Dollar explained to us how we were selected and what we had to look forward to on our two Fabulous Days with Family Dollar.
Upon arrival to the store we departed the bus and many bloggers were taking selfies and usies but I of course was the photographer. I prefer to capture others candid portraits rather than be in the shots. I guess you can say its the photographer side of me. We had an opportunity to view that beauty section which displayed all of the amazing cosmetic brands that Family Dollar carries along with their natural hair section. I did notice that they had a large array of relaxers for the ladies that prefer that route. Our next stop was the apparel section which showcased the new designs that they are carrying and can I just say that they have stepped up their game and raised the bar. Please be sure to check out their new styles and create an outfit for any occasion for less $25 bucks.
NEXT STOP- WORLD OF COCA-COLA
Our next stop was to World of Coca-Cola where we were went on their VIP Tour which was oodles of fun. Although I have been there many times its so much more fun when you have your very own Speedy Gonzales tour guide. She had us making mad dashes through the exhibits which was super fun. Our tour ended with an Coca-Cola VIP Blogger Lunch presented by the PR & Marketing Executives of Coca-Cola. The Executives spoke to us about the diversity of the markets and how we as African-American and Latina Bloggers have played a major role in the process. I must say that Day 1 of the Family Dollar Fabulous is off to an amazing start.
FINAL DESTINATION – MEET & GREET WITH SUPPLIERS
If you think that I day was coming to an end you’re in for a surprise. We headed back to the Hotel where the red carpet was rolled out for us and we received our monogrammed Family Dollar Fabulous totes and Baby Tees then were paired into groups of two to have our one-on-one sessions with the suppliers.
The sessions lasted for about 20-30 minutes and we were able to receive an inside scoop on what the respective suppliers had coming up for 2016 and where they were taking their brands. The suppliers ranged from hair, beauty to personal items. I can truly say that it was quite an experience.
As you can see the suppliers spared no expense when it came to their presentation and goodies for the Bloggers. The day continued as we completed our rounds with the first set nine suppliers.
Can you say F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S? The evening ended with the poolside rooftop reception. Needless to say that I was super excited about Day 2.
