The kids & I absolutely love pizza and in their opinion it’s so much better when we create our own. We designated Wednesday nights as our Family Movie Night so what better time than to create our own pizza. Our movie nights meals vary on our meals. The kids suggested that we make a homemade pizza and lucky for us we had just received an assortment of Rustic Crust and sauce to try. We opted to try the Old World Crispy Italian Thin Crust. I was excited to learn that Rustic Crust only used real ingredients and no artificial preservatives.
The ingredients for the Crispy Italian and all of the Rustic Crust ready-made crusts are handmade using all natural ingredients with no GMOs and no artificial preservatives. Which is perfect for my family! Earlier that day when we were at the Supermarket grabbing a few items for our pizza the kids grabbed a movie each from the Red Box. The evening consisted of Fantastic Four and Rustic Crust Homemade Pizza. Let’s get this party started! Here are a few ingredients that we used.
We started out by adding some Goya Olive Oil to the our pizza crust. You can never go wrong with Olive Oil! Start out by pouring the Olive Oil and then spreading it with a brush.
Once the Olive Oil was spread we than added the Old World Pizza Sauce. The reminded me of the sauce that you get on a fresh hot slice of Gino’s Pizza in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Old World Pizza Sauce is perfect for a 12 inch pizza made with the freshest ingredients.
BJ helped with spreading the delicious pizza sauce while Mario added the cheese blend.
Once the cheese has been spread this is where it gets fun. Just let the kids go crazy and add whatever ingredients they desire on their pizza. My little ones added peperoni, ham and pineapples. Yum! Bake for 8-13 minutes and Viola!
We give Rustic Crust six thumbs up! It was so delicious and super easy to make a homemade pizza right in the comfort of your own home. Stay tuned as we create other DIY post using Rustic Crust. Did you know that you can create grill pizza? Check out CEO Brad Sterl grill a Caprese Pizza:
