The New Year brings new beginnings, resolutions, goals, visions and even marriages. What better time to have a wedding than on New Years Eve. As many of you know this is a festive time of year and selecting the perfect dress is a necessity. I was challenged as the Maid of Honor to create a bridesmaids look for an upcoming wedding. I was presented with four dresses all navy but one in particular stood out of the selection. The Weddington Way Zoe Bridesmaid Dress in the Something Navy Blue is perfect.
What perfect way to channel your inner fashion style with this chic Zoe dress. The illusion neckline and delicate lace are fashion trends. The classic silhouette makes this Weddington Way Zoe dress truly timeless. The asymmetrical neckline in my opinion looks amazing without a necklace which accentuates the fitted bodice, flared skirt with scalloped hem and pockets! Yes it has pockets. Every Fashionista is crushing over dresses with pockets. You can see their entire bridesmaid collection here.
Its New Year’s so why not add a festive twist to the bridesmaids dresses? I loved how the bridesmaids hair pulled to the side or pulled up accents their dress so I chose to have them wear simple navy pearls earrings along with a cute emerald and navy bracelet. The shoes that the model is wearing are a great choice, however adding these beautiful emerald Christian Louboutin’s and instead of a traditional bouquet I chose an emerald-green kissing ball bouquet. The chosen bouquet adds a little flair to the bridesmaids style. The preferred makeup is a natural foundation with a splash of emerald eye shadow and a nude lip which would be perfect for the occasion. It’s the perfect time to have a wedding and this style would be ravishing at a midnight New Years Eve wedding. How would you add a twist to this Zoe dress?
