Ford Brings the Neighborhood Award Back To Atlanta For The 2nd Year
This weekend Ford returns for the Second Annual Neighborhood Awards and their RIDE & DRIVE EXPERIENCE. The both was set up directly outside of the World Congress Center and thousands of visitors of the State Farm Neighborhood Expo were invited to stop by and test drive a plethora of Vehicles. Thousands of visitors lined up to experience the latest in leader in automotive. The array of cars showcased Fords commitment to quality, safety, green and smart technology. All that was required to participate was a valid drivers.
Ford had some real treats in store for their Ride & Drive experience! Ford created the “ultimate enthusiast paradise” at the 2nd annual Neighborhood event. They featured an array of 2015 vehicles —from the new F-150 to the latest performance models like the Mustang, Edge, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, and more.
As the test drives continued throughout the day, Steve Harvey took a vehicle for a spin and shortly afterwards I decided to take the Edge for a test drive. The edge is the perfect size for my family without the huge SUV look but with all of the luxury and amenities.
Steve Harvey headed to the Ford booth after taking the vehicle for a drive to spend some time with the visitors partying on the stage. The booth was wonderfully designed and throughout the weekend there was music, celebrity appearance dance competitions, giveaways and the best selfies using hash tag #FORDUP. The moment that Steve went on stage and he crowd in the booth went wild.
The flow of the Expo was amazing and the crowds transitioned from on event to the next with ease. As the time began to wind down it was soon time for the Family Feud show. In my opinion this was perhaps the highlight of many visitors portion of the Expo with Steve because it was quite comical. To know Steve Harvey is to love him and he holds no bars back. What you see on the televised Family Feud is exactly what you get live on the set with no edit. Simply Raw & Uncut! The contestants for the show were Chubb Rock and his wild wife. That’s another story for another time and then there was the Intellectual SiMan Baby along with his sophisticated wife and family. It was truly Hood vs. Suburbs! All in all it was a great time on the set.
