Jack Daniel’s Pulled Pork Is Perfect For Lunch/Dinner For Under $20

Brrr.. It’s finally cold outside and it’s definitely “Stay In The House” weather. I wasn’t ever expecting the temperature to drop but it appears that Mother Nature has made a decision to make us take whatever weather she feels like giving us. My family and I made a commitment this year to really watch what we eat and try to eat as healthy as we possibly can but we all know that we’re allowed those days when we just want something fun and yummy to eat.

My kids are all lovers of Barbeque. Let’s just say all things Barbeque so I decided to create a quick, inexpensive meal that can be served for with lunch or dinner and the best part is that it all cost less than $20 to feed your entire family. All you need to do is pick up a few items from the store to create a fun yummy meal. Allow me to introduce you to Jack Daniel’s Old Time Quality Seasoned and Cooked Pulled Pork with Jack Daniel’s Barbeque Sauce. I’m sure you all thought that I was going to pull out my grill, right? Remember it’s too cold for that but I found the next best thing!

The Jack Daniel’s Pulled Pork can be found in your meat section in your local supermarket or your local Sam’s Wholesale. I purchased the 16oz from my local market for $6.98 but you can purchase the 32oz from Sam’s for $11.68. It all depends on rather my oldest son will be staying for dinner rather I purchase the larger container. Since the Pulled Pork is basically already cooked, all you have to do is pop it in the oven for 12-15 minutes and its ready. If you’re not a pork eater then they also sell beef and beef brisket amongst others. The hamburger buns will range from $1.50-3.00.

My kids asked for French Fries to go along with their sandwiches so I decided to make them some homemade fries. When I was a little girl my mother always made me homemade French Fries. In my opinion they are simply the best plus they have a sweet taste to me. If you’ve never made them before, they are super easy to make. Just grab you a few russet white potatoes, cut of the skin if you like (I prefer no skin), slice them up and fry and clean vegetable or canola oil.

The entire process takes about 20-30 minutes total time to prepare the meal. Just add a side of extra sauce and a few pickles. Trust me the kids will love this quick #DIY Barbeque Meal and it will save you a few bucks by skipping the restaurant.
