Success In The City Fashion Show

On last night Dr. Courtney Hammond’s along with his graduating class of The Art Institute of Atlanta – Decatur  hosted Success In The City Fashion Show in Atlantic Station. The show was presented by the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion & Marketing Management. The students were responsible for every aspect of the production from PR to ticket sales. The students were also responsible for the selection of  their model for the runway.  The show consisted of professional and contemporary styling using Fall Trends from Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy and Athleta. Other event sponsors included Gap For Community Colleges, Gap Inc. Brands and Strip Restaurant. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Dress for Success-Atlanta. The mission for Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. The show was a huge success and ended with Dr. Courtney Hammond’s graduating class walking the runway.
