Sometimes I feel like my life is one crazy travel adventure. Every since I was a little girl I found myself bit with the travel bug. I was always up for a crazy adventure with my family rather traveling by airplane or car it really didn’t matter as long as I had the opportunity to enjoy a new experience. Years later as a mother I find myself creating a similar repeat of my childhood travel adventures for my kids. When you think about it LIFE is just a motion and Lord knows that mine stays in motion so when I was recently introduced to American Shield the collaboration was an instant connection between two adventurous brands. A few years ago the kids and I started a backpacking series where we would find an airline ticket and grab a backpack each and the only rule was that we could only take what could fit inside our backpacks. Needless to say that we have had our share of adventures but I always felt like the backpacks that we used just wasn’t created for our crazy adventures. The American Shield Granite 25 backpack comes in three colors: Black, Black & Brown. I love that they are made with a quality Oxford fabric. There’s something so amazing when you can travel with confidence and ease knowing that your bag will withstand the adventure. I adored the striped print inside that added some pizzaz to the bag. The black was definitely a great choice. The additional back and side pockets are perfect for tucking aways last minute finds while traveling. Plus the adjustable studs help adjust the comfort level on your back.
As soon as it arrived I just had to put it to the test. I had a few errands to run after getting the kids off to school. I suddenly found my errands running over into a business lunch that I had totally forgotten that I had scheduled. I would normally have to take my equipment backpack which leaves no room for handbag, 365 planner or additional notebooks. Well not the American Shield Granite 25 backpack! My Friday was LIT! I was able to securely pack my 13 inch Macbook Air, Nikon D5500, Planners, Purse, Charging Ports and a Light Jacket in my backpack. As I ran out the house I forgot my lipstick as I went back inside and grabbed it to stash in one of the many extra compartments. This bag is life! I can finally eliminate all of my extra baggage that I often find myself lugging around.
This bag is so perfect for short or extended stays. My 16-year-old is apart of his High School JROTC and the past few weekends they have been going to competitions and mini excursions. The American Shield Granite 25 backpack serves a great adventure bag for my son. We know that boys will be boys and I love that this bag is fashionable/business for me and adventurous for him. It’s the perfect family bag. He has already hinted that he needs his own so I will be placing an order for his soon. There’s no need for bulky luggage because this is the best multipurpose bag on the market!
