**I was provided a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer SEL AWC to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.**
The last few weeks have been super busy! I had to take a quick trip to Secaucus, New Jersey to work for a client at an annual Beauty Industry Show. This happens to be one of many shows that Hair & Beauty Companies go in to sell their brands to Beauty Supply Stores and Big Box Retailers. This wasn’t my first time at the show, in fact when my family owned Jamaican Mango & Lime along with our other nine brands I has numerous opportunities to attend the show and get our brand into more doors which in return ensured that everyone, everywhere was able to enjoy our amazing brand.
This year I attended on behalf of one of my clients and although it was a short trip it afforded me the opportunity to test drive another amazing vehicle. I can truly say that DriveShop is top notch and ensures that you are top priority when working with them. I flew into EWR and a week prior, DriveShop provided me with all of the information and tools that I would need to pick up my vehicle. Upon arrival the process to pick up the car was all of 10-15 minutes only because I had to catch the shuttle over to the lot. The process was super smooth and the car was everything that I expected. I was definitely in love with the Diamond White Pearl color.
The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer comes with a host of features. Here are a few that stuck out to me:
- 2.4L MIVEC DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder
- Hydraulic assist power steering
- Heated side-view mirrors
- 6.1 Touch panel audio system
- Sirius XM Satellite Radio
The vehicle was extremely comfortable and fairly easy to maneuver the controls. In my opinion all newer vehicles controls are basically similar with exception of vehicles that have what I consider upgraded controls. The drive was a little over 15 minutes to my hotel and of course the Jersey tolls just love me. I was a bit upset because I left my EZ Pass at home. The trunk space as always was huge. I was able to fit my bag along with four banners with plenty of room for more items.
The only Cons that I have about the car is that it did not come with a GPS System which I need because I am super bad with directions and I could feel every bump and motion while driving the vehicle but overall I loved the Lancer.
I drove the car locally in Secaucus to grab lunch and dinner with several industry friends and also to grab last minute items needed to decorate my show area.
Stay tuned for my next auto review! Safe Travels!
