DIY Pizza

012

The kids all love pizza and love to eat it every chance that they can so I decided to start making pizza at home. Why not? This DIY Pizza recipe is a great way to get your little ones involved in preparing dinner or a snack. You can purchase everything at the store for under $10 and make two pizzas. The great thing about making them at home is that you can make them your way, it’s a great cooking project for the kids and its cheaper than ordering take-out. So here is what you will need:

1-Small Pack of Ham Lunch Meat

1-Pack of Hormel Pepperoni Slices

1-Jar of Pizza Sauce (any kind will do/I used the Great Value Brand)

1-Jar of Goya Olive Oil

2-Cans of Dole Diced Pineapples

1-Pack of Pizza Mix Cheese

1-2 Pack of Mama Mary’s Pizza Crust

Directions:

1. Brush the bottom of each pizza crust with the Goya Olive Oil to add moisture to the crust.

2. Next, Brush the bottom of the pizza crust with pizza sauce, add cheese, pepperoni, ham and pineapples. (I just tore the ham in pieces and added it to the pizza.

3. Bake for 10-12 minutes and Serve Hot!

Viola! You can be as creative as you like with this fun meal and the kids will get a kick out of helping you make dinner. This is great for the weekend or even as a snack.
