Fueling My Zen
The last few weeks I haven’t felt like myself. It’s like I was so overwhelmed with building my brand, family, clients and working out that I simply felt exhausted. Seriously, the last few weeks not only have I been feeling exhausted but on top of that I was suffering from yet another horrible migraine. I was at the point that I didn’t want to get out of bed. I remember a few years ago I would get monthly massages to help ease my migraines. I remembered that I received a birthday gift from one of my sisters for an hour massage so I decided to take advantage of the gift and see if the therapy would help me feel a little better. Basically my tank was low and I needed to fuel my Zen.
I have had tons of massages over the years but this was my first visit to Zen Massage which just so happens to be located close to where I live. That’s a plus because after a great massage who wants to have to drive over 30 minutes to get home and relax. I went online to book my appointment which was a few days out but after talking to a special friend he advised me to call to see if there were any cancellations and lucky for me there was so I was able to get an immediate appointment.
The moment that I arrived I felt relaxed. I was greeted by my massage therapist Katresia AKA Blessed Handz. I love how God answers my prayers. As I was driving to my appointment I prayed for God to provide me with a therapist that would be open to receive and give. My God! When I met Kat I couldn’t wait to experience an hour of relaxation and quiet. We instantly hit it off and after a mini conversation I knew that she was the ordained therapist for me. Boy was I in for a surprise because the massage was just what the doctor ordered. I was definitely surprised that I was even able to relax after a few stressful weeks. The service is top-notch and the environment was just what I needed to take a mental break from my everyday stress. I definitely give them 5 STARS!
