The end of the year is upon us and my family and I have had the best time working diligently together to stay healthy and fit. The myth that you must be a certain size to do yoga is just that a myth. Although I have previously practiced yoga which just so happens to have been well over 14-years ago is living proof that with determination and dedication you can do anything that you put your mind to do. The kids and I have had an amazing year together practicing yoga in fact my mother is here visiting and we were able to talk her into getting in on a little yoga work out action. My mom was a bit concerned with trying a few poses but I assured her that would simply start out with a few stretch exercises and then work our way into a few poses. Always remember to take baby steps to avoid injuries. Here we go!
Anyone who knows me also knows that I have always had the gift of getting others to try something at least once and my mommy was not an exception. Yep I had Mommy getting it in rather she liked it or not but she did! She loved the stretch that she did and she used a few parts her body that she wouldn’t normally used. Hopefully she gets hooked!
It took a moment. LOL! Look at my facial expression. No seriously my son snapped the picture too fast.
The kids passed the camera to my mom so they could jump in too! I told you that it was a Yoga Family Affair!
Yes Mario is doing yoga in his Ant-Man costume! SMH! My kid!
Honestly when we took these pictures and did our daily yoga I was feeling so awful. I had actually taken sick and is presently trying to recuperate but still I endured and I actually did a side crow AKA Parsvabakasana Pose. Cheers to another accomplishment!
