Hey Darlings! This weekend was all about the La Fête du Rosé social event of the year. The weather finally held its own although it stormed like crazy in my area until I began to see small peaks of sunlight beaming as I made my way down to Piedmont Park. The moment that I turned in the Botanical Gardens road that stretches to their parking garage all I could see for miles and miles was PINK & WHITE or WHITE & PINK. Seriously I thought that I had gone to pink heaven. Ya’ll know how this Southern Belle just adores herself all things pink.
This was the second annual La Fête du Rosé and I think that I can confidently say that there will be many, many more to come. This highly anticipated event was rescheduled a few times but I was also raised to believe that you have to save the best for last and Atlanta came and showed out. The environment was on point, the crowd was hyped, the Rosé was chilled and the music had everyone feeling DJ Stormy. There wasn’t a dull moment. From start to finish everything was seamless.
As an Official Influencer Partner I had access to the VIP experience. The VIP area was fenced off with white picket fences that included an area filled with covered tents dressed with beautiful furniture, light bites as well as an open area where you could spread out your signature picnic blanket and enjoy the view. The VIP area was close to the stage so it was accessible for you to view the stage practically within arms reach.
This years La Fête du Rosé was a picnic-style celebration of all things rosé including wines, champagnes, lifestyle, boho chic infused with a tap of Kentucky Derby. There were so many amazing people in attendance with amazing attire. The girls and guys beautifully displayed their own individual styles.
Last years festival included more than 2,200 guests in attendance for the inaugural 2018 La Fête du RoséAtlanta. You can take a peek at last years video recap here.
I truly enjoyed this years entertainment lineup headline performances include legendary rapper, producer, and DJ, Mannie Fresh and Atlanta local and star of OWN’s hit TV show “Ready for Love,” DJ Stormy. Hunty DJ Stormy is the business! I could have listened to her on the beats ALL DAY LONG! I would be remised if I did not mention how I appreciated the organizers for including an ASL Signer for the hearing impaired. Baby she was freaking crunk to no end. From signing to pumping her body to the beat this social event left no page unturned.
The first part of my time at the festival started by hanging out with The Sistah Chick, her sister and my Boo, Alexis Maurice followed by Mo and I heading to hang out with some other friends Scenes by Satchel, Quad (Married to Medicine), Marveale, Deon and Quad crew. The rest of the evening was filled with millions of laughs, giggles, toast and creating memories. It was the perfect day to just let your hair hang and enjoy life unapologetically.
Special Thanks to the amazing La Fête du Rosé team for allowing me to be apart this year. I look forward to 2020! CHEERS!
