Happy September Dolls! The season will be changing soon and those of us that wear powder foundation in the warmer months and switch to liquid/compact the winter months will indeed appreciate this amazing new product that I have been using for the last month. I will admit that I don’t really get into the dynamics of wearing all of the fierce colors and brands but I do have a favorite brand that seemed to be the only one that was a match for my complexion.
I am presently a Modern Mom insider and I was selected to receive a make up set to try. The process for being selected was very simple. I was asked to answer less than ten questions about my complexion, wants & needs in a make up brand and a few other questions. If you’re not familiar with Sheer Cover here is some information on the brand:
With Sheer Cover Studio, virtually any skin imperfection can seem to vanish, including redness, dark circles, age spots, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone and acne. Even more challenging concerns like rosacea, birthmarks, spider veins and tattoos can seem to magically blend away. And you’ll be amazed at how Sheer Cover Studio’s light, breathable mineral makeup soothes away the look of fine lines and wrinkles to help minimize the appearance of pore size, giving you a more youthful, flawless appearance.
I love how natural the make up looks on my face and the fact that I absolutely can not feel it nor do I have to worry about my face melting in the sun. Yes this happens a lot with others that I have encountered. Perhaps you have encountered them as well. They are the ones patting their face when its extremely hot outside. Yep you know the ones. Another plus for this brand is when you touch or wipe your face the make up doesn’t get all over your hands and make a mess when you touch something.
My complexion was dark of course and my set included the following: Conditioning Cleanser, Nourishing Moisturizer with SPF 15, Base Perfect Primer, Lengthening Mascara, Lash Extending Fibers, Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals, Conceal & Brighten Trio (Tan/Dark) and Perfect Shade Mineral Foundation Powder (Dark). I truly loved all of the items with the exception of the Lash Extending Fibers and that’s because I already have really long lashes so I don’t need to extend them any longer. Here is a before and after picture:
