Hot Off The Press!! Did you all know that Nubian Heritage brought star ingredient African Black Soap to the United States nearly 25 years ago. It’s no surprise that this amazing award-winning beauty and wellness brand has expanded its best-selling bath and body collection into facial care. The new African Black Soap Facial Care Collection, launching this month, January 2017, featuring an assortment of products that are certified homeopathic remedies inspired by global healing philosophies. Naturally black in color and used for centuries throughout Africa, “all-in-one” African black soap had been revered for cleaning blemishes, diminishing dark spots, exfoliating skin and soothing symptoms associated with eczema and psoriasis.
Can I just say that the collection is beautifully packaged with a textile pattern that symbolizes purity, rooting the detoxifying and balancing ingredients found in the formula to long-established symbology of Ancient Africa. Anago Soap or Alata soap also known as Black Soap is created by Nubian Heritage in a traditional, culturally authentic way. They even take the leaves, coca pods, shea bark and plantains and burn them to an ash, which gives their soap its naturally black color. Who doesn’t love an all natural soap with no dyes? I know that I do! I was excited to learn that they then take the ash and add it to coconut oil and ethically sourced shea butte from the women’s co-ops on Northern Ghana, combined with water and brought to boil until it dissolves. The vitamin-rich soap is then hand-stirred and set out to cure.
I’m sure that your anticipation has built so lets check out these new amazing products.
