I had the pleasure of being referred to dine at Passion Fish for dinner by the concierge at the Hyatt Regency Reston. I had conducted previous research on the restaurant after seeing it one day on television and reading countless articles in magazines about the amazing food and wonderful service and since I my travels had finally landed there I thought to myself WHY NOT? I truly appreciated that Passion Fish was within walking distance from the hotel so after my first day ended from the BE RADICAL Conference I headed over for dinner. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the General Manager who was simply wonderful. He walked me to my seat and he asked if I had dined there before and I told him that I was from Atlanta so we begin to chat about an old friend that he had there and the restaurant that his friend owns which by the way I will be dining at very soon. Let me stop the press for a second! When I say that the ambiance was everything! It was everything! It made me wish that I had a boyfriend, finance or husband to dine with, I mean it was just ALL OF THAT AND THEN SOME!
My server was can I say thebomb.com! He had the most amazing mojito made for me and just simply catered to my every need. I travel a lot and I have dined in many restaurants all over the world but only a few of them consistently check on you, refill your wine glass, clear that table without being asked, place the napkin on your lap…you all get the idea. Since I am a southern girl born and raised in Savannah I decided to order the crab cakes which OMG were delicious. Basically my inner fat girl was in heaven because this restaurant was all of that and then some. I was too stuffed for dessert but get this my server brought me some chocolate candy that they make right their on site. If you want to learn more about Passion Fish just follow this link.
