Hey Darlings! I’m kicking off 2020 with my first style editorial. I was recently introduced to Femme Luxe a UK based company that has some of the cutest fits that I have seen in a while. It’s no secret that I have spent years shopping up and down Oxford Street in London so when the opportunity presented itself to work with Femme Luxe I was all on board.Who says you can’t be involved in a lil Risky Business when it comes to Fashion? I was gifted the outfit in the editorial, all opinions are my own.
As I browsed the website for outfits that stood out to me I happened to come across a White Thigh Split Shirt Mini Dress in their mini dress collection. Immediately my mind raced to one of my favorite movies, Risky Business and I knew that I had to have it. I remember watching that infamous scene when Tom Cruise slid by the stairs in a crisp white dress shirt.
This White Thigh Split Shirt Mini Dress is the perfect slinky mini dress when making a fashion statement this season. I was definitely feeling myself once I slipped this super cute number on. I loved the front detail of the dress and the ability to create a cute front tie. It’s definitely a head turner and perfect for a night out on the town with your bestie, a girls night out or an intimate date night with Bae (if he doesn’t freak out about the thigh splits…LOL).
The Slinky Mini Dress is perfect for all seasons. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can throw on a pair of gladiator scandals or some cute open toe heels for an evening out. At the moment we’re still experiencing cooler weather so I decided to style this Risky Business dress with a pair of Rowena Black Heeled Faux Fur/Suede Stiletto Boots from Shoedazzle. SEXY right? I went with a messy high bun for my hairstyle. Whew! I felt like I was about to perform a scene in Risky Business. I really loved the fit and feel of this dress.
The second way that I styled this Mini Dress from Femme Luxe was perfect for Bible Study at church, an after hours business meeting or a moment when you want to look sexy with a tad bit more coverage. I paired a pair of high waist straight pants with a pair of basic black heels. This look is more conservative with a twist of sexy.
This year I made a vow to be more intentional with my fashion post and share more than I did in 2019. Special thanks to Femme Luxe for gifting me with this dress and adding me to their blogger network. Stay on the lookout for my next Fashion Editorial.
