The kids and I had the opportunity to roll around town on last week in the brand new 2016 KIA Optima SX Turbo. We have test driven a host of vehicles but this one here was by far the fastest! I do mean that LITERALLY! If you’re in the market for a car that can literally pass as a race car then this is indeed your very bet option. When the car was first delivered during my orientation of the car highlights and amenities he definitely mentioned that this beauty was fast. I of course laughed it off and proceeded to learn about the vehicle.
Fast Forward to me later on heading out to pick up my son which was the first time that I drove the car. Oh My! This Baby is Fast! VROOM!! Let’s take a look at the engine in this Baby!
So let’s talk about this 2.oL Turbo Gas Direct Injection 4-Cyl Engine. Look at that Beauty! The 2016 KIA Optima SX Turbo has a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission w/ Active Eco System, Drive Mode Select (DMS) and 18″ Alloy wheels.
Amongst the amazing turbo drive in this amazing vehicle my kids and I loved the heated seats that keep our buns toasty during those early morning runs to the bus stop and late night craving runs. Just in case you happen to leave your gloves or mittens the steering wheel is heated too. The front seats are equipped with mounted airbags, driver’s knee airbag and there are even lower anchors & tethers for children (LATCH). The red leather seats gives this Turbo it extra pizzazz and places it in a category of its own. I personally love that the 2016 Kia Optima also includes power seats with lumbar which is a must for me at times when my back is acting strange.
While we cruised around town we had the opportunity to get a first insider VIP look at the brand new Nancy’s Pizza Camp Creek. We’re super happy to have them relocate close to our neck of the woods. We jumped in the 2016 KIA Optima and made a mad dash to attend a private get together with Stepsevents that was hosted for clients, staff and friends. Check out Exclusive Images:
I can go on and on about this super cool vehicle. This is definitely one of my top 5 of 2016. The additional pluses for this car are:
