Hey Ya’ll! We started our weekend off with a short road trip to Savannah, GA which also happens to be my hometown. If you’ve ever been to Savannah then I am sure that you have heard of Leopold’s Ice Cream and if you haven’t then your about to be formally introduced to one of the “Best Ice Cream Parlors” in the south. We had the pleasure to cruise all the way down to Savannah in luxury and style in the 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. The Lincoln Nautilus is the perfect representation of where Luxury meets Southern Hospitality. Think Southern Charm meets Beautiful Dreams. Leopold’s is our first stop on our Southern Hospitality Meets Luxury Road Trip Series. Mark your calendars for their upcoming 100th year Anniversary taking place on August 17th. The kids and I are planning to come back to celebrate with the Leopold’s Family.
For almost a century, Leopold’s has been serving up “Good Things to Eat, Good Things to Drink” in beautiful, historic Savannah, Georgia. From our award-winning, homemade super-premium ice cream, unchanged since 1919, to their made from scratch soups, sandwiches, salads and freshly baked treats, trust me you’re sure to find something memorable at Leopold’s.
Please keep mind that there will probably be a line actually a long line. LOL! I haven’t been to Leopold’s in a while and I could not wait to get my hands on a waffle cone. I gathered my sister, niece and best friend to all join me for a little ice cream social. My best friend, Shahidah of course was late hence putting us in a longer line but it was all in fun. I think the best part was how she started insisting on how long the line was going to take for us to get to the front. It was freaking hilarious and lucky for us the line moved fairly fast and before you knew it we were at the front of the line.
The staff was amazing! We sampled as many ice creams as we liked and my final decision was the Lemon Custard. OMG! It was so freaking delicious! I’m thinking about going back tomorrow for round two. My niece had the Thin Mint & Cream which was also delicious, my sister had vanilla and my best friend had the banana split which I basically ate. LOL!
Leopold’s serves your traditional ice cream flavors along with sandwiches, soda fountain specialties, soups, salads and make sure that you ask about their seasonal ice cream flavors.
