Generations of Pure & Clean Soap Traditions

Hey Southern Belles!

The kids and I have been taking several trips back to Savannah, GA where all of my fondest memories of growing up are from. It was there that I learned the importance of using a product that pure and clean like Ivory Soap. I can recall as a little girl growing up with my grandmother, how she would share with me how Ivory gave her a peace of mind. Her family would use it because it’s a pure and gentle clean without the worries of harmful ingredients. As long as I can remember Ivory has been a generational brand that my family has used and passed the tradition of using the brand down to newer generations. In fact, the original formula hasn’t changed since it was developed in 1874.

As a mother of 3 sons, it’s important for me to pass the same traditions down to my kids and to my future grandchildren. I remember with my first born that some other name brand products would irritate his skin. After an initial call to my mother and a quick run to the local Family Dollar Ivory Original Bar Soap, I was confident as a new mother that my son’s skin was receiving a pure and gentle wash. I knew I was carrying on a family brand tradition. My two births to follow were all Ivory babies!

Fast-forward to today, my sister who has a 6-month-old is also an avid Ivory user for her Fluffy Baby Boy. Just the other day when we were in Family Dollar grabbing a few items I made the discovery of the Ivory Aloe Body Wash. Imagine how happy I was to discover that along with the Ivory Original Body Wash, that I had been using, and realizing it is also available in Aloe! I couldn’t wait to try out the Aloe and just as I suspected the smell and feel were simply amazing on my skin! Now through the end of the month (June 30), you can head to your local Family Dollar Store and stock up on Ivory 21oz. Body Wash (Original and Aloe) and Ivory 8-Bar Original Soap at a reduced price.

Ivory definitely represents family, love and memories for me. As long as I can remember my family has been dedicated users. Whether I visited family in Florida, Virginia or Jamaica you can always count on finding a bar or two there. They’re super gentle and pure which are perfect for a newborn, a mom and the entire family.
