Today I reached out to my photographer to let him know that his amazing company The Society, Media & Event Firm will be responsible for capturing both my engagement and wedding. The past months I have been praying, fasting and following instructions given to me from God. I realize that it may seem radical to those of you who are reading today’s blog entry however I AM GETTING MARRIED SOON!
I’m sure that wondering what in the world is she talking about. No I’m not engaged or even dating but that doesn’t mean that I can’t pray and speak it into existence. The beginning of 2019 I wrote down in my journal that I was ready to date, love and get married again after being divorced for so many years. The beginning of this year just felt right. I have over the past years prayed and allowed myself to heal mentally and emotionally which has led me to this point in my life. I can recall not even a month or so going by after I made the declaration in my journal that God showed me an open vision of my husband. Ya’ll know I keep it 100 on my blog I was in complete shock. Why? Umm because this person just isn’t someone that would have naturally caught my attention and so I still had my doubts, well at least in my head. So the next night the Lord showed me two very distinctive dreams one of which was confirmed by a very close friend of mine who just so happens to be prophetic.
The Lord replies, “Write down the message I am giving you. Write it clearly on the tablets you use. Then a messenger can read it and run to announce it. Habakkuk 2:2 (NIRV)
Needless to say that I was shocked because normally God shows me things that are to come or happen about others. I rarely and I mean rarely see anything about myself so you can see why I was a bit thrown off. I have had this gift for as long as I can remember but never knew exactly what it was until I was older and around people who understood it and helped cultivate it.
Whew! So the last month was filled with prayer, fasting on specific dates and times given by God and calling things that are not at the present moment as though they are! My prayer was very specific for myself and two of my close friends. We know that God always honors his promises so today out the blue I felt the urge to reach out and pre-book my photographer because the kind of crazy faith that I have I believe that God will also speak this same photography company in my future husbands ear. Any who I’m just over here standing on God’s word and patiently awaiting on it all to unfold and happen. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated!
