This past weekend thousands gather for the annual Jazz Lawn Party at The Governors Island in New York on last weekend. The Jazz Age Lawn Party is New York City’s original prohibition era inspired gathering. Hosted and conceived by Michael Arenella, the event started as a small gathering of perhaps fifty friends and fans. The event, initially produced by the island, was handed over to Michael in its third year to organize and grow. If you are a Great Gatsby fan than this is surely an event that you will want to be apart of in the future.
The gals were dressed with pearls and feathers and the fellows were dressed to impress. This event draws a crowd from all over the world. Great Gatsby & Jazz fans come together in celebration of the Jazz and dance for hours and hours.
The ladies were spotted in beautiful polka dot outfits and some even looked equally ravishing in their mixtures of paisley and windowpane check, seersucker and florals. What will your fashion statement be in August?
