We all love Jussie Smollett in his role on Empire as Jamal and since the airing of the show the world has been rooting for him. It’s apparent that on the show his father Lucious has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving his company to his gay son Jamal, played by Smollett but when it comes to his ear for music like his father Lucious can’t deny that the boy just has that gift.
The internet and blogs were buzzing on yesterday when word hit that Jussie was signed to Columbia records. We’ll there is no denying that this dude can blow. Hell he can blow that panties off of you with his sweet sexy voice. It’s undeniable that throughout this first season of Empire that Jussie Smollett has truly been serving us with his talent. The 31-year-old actor continues to wild the viewers of the show and in my opinion continues to move into a leading role with his story line. His story is one that is a topic that must be talked about, dealt with and people truly need to get over and move on from. Sources say that FOX’s hit, Empire continues to bring new viewers in addition to their 13.8 million loyal viewers with each episode. How’s that for numbers?
Smollett’s character, Jamal Lyon, has proven to us in every episode that against all odds he will persevere and that’s what makes Jamal so lovable. He makes us forget that it’s just a show and as we watch each episode it feels like its real. So when the announcement came out on yesterday that Smollett landed a record deal with Columbia Records it felt like a family member celebration. Smollett stated: “There will be a Jussie Smollett album. I signed to Columbia,” he said when asked about future music plans. “So darling [Laughs] I’m label mates with Beyoncé and Adele and Barbra Streisand.”(Entertainment Weekly)
