Ready For A Smooth Ride? Check The 2015 Subaru Legacy
**I was provided a 2015 Subaru Legacy to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.**
Subaru Fabulous! A few weeks ago I had the privilege to test drive the 2015 Subaru Legacy. This was probably my second time inside a Subaru since I was a little girl and a close family member had one which was ages ago but I still remember how I admired the body style and amenities many moons ago. I was excited when they reached out for me to become apart of the ambassador initiative.
I will admit after conducting quite a few car reviews over the last year I have gotten a bit spoil with the reps who deliver them and ensure that you thoroughly understand how to operate the vehicle and are aware of the highlights of that particular vehicle. This was not the case with this delivery. The gentleman delivered the car and was on his way. Its a great thing that once you’ve driven other vehicles they all basically have similar ways of operating their tools. The car was definitely a beauty and like I stated earlier I have been a fan of Subaru for as long as I can remember. The 2015 Subaru Legacy Sedan is by far one of the larger more roomier midsize sedans on the market. As a mother of three including one of which is a soon to be Sophomore I am always trying to save on gas. The fuel efficiency of the Legacy is top notch and I noted that we actually got 34 MPG which was right up my alley. After conducting some research I really like how they have re-designed the 2015 to place it in the running with fellow sedans.
The Legacy has a very distinctive interior design that’s a fit for both male and female. I’ve noticed in some vehicles that inside isn’t unisex but the Subaru Legacy has solved the problem. The design is A1.
The Subaru Legacy is an all-wheel drive as standard along with the latest version of Eyesight system and a new available Rear Vehicle Detection System that includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist (My Favorite) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (Another Favorite).
The Legacy was a joy to drive and the drive was so freaking smooth. In the morning I would drop the kids off to school and head to grab a cup of tea and not one time did I not enjoy the ride.
We were invited out to the Grand Opening of Booms Town at Six Flags Over Georgia and although the forecast called for rain which is did the Legacy was a breeze to handle especially since I strongly dislike driving in the rain. The kids had a ball at the Grand Opening.
The fun didn’t stop there! We were also guest to a private prescreening of Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice. The Legacy was a great comfortable car for my family and provided plenty of room as we traveled to Atlantic Station.
Some additional features of the 2015 Subaru Legacy are:
- The choice of 4 04 6-cylinder boxer engines
- Lineartronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)
- 26 MPG City/36 MPG Highway/ 30 MPG Combined
- Active Grille Shutter System
- SiriusXM® satellite radio (Mine is always locked on Pastor Joel Osteen)
The Subaru Legacy is definitely one of my preferred traveling and cruising around the city favorites. The goodies that I received was an added treat.
IT’S A SUBIE THING!!!
