My first introduction to Pastor Tony Evans was through my best friend Shahidah. She’s been a supporter of his books for years which is one of the main reasons I came to love them. Needless to say that I was excited when the opportunity presented itself to review this amazing opportunity from FrontGate Media.

Over the years I have definitely had my fair share of inspirational and versions of bibles. It’s very important in my daily walk with God to read a few scriptures if not chapters daily to assist me. I learned years ago that you can always ask someone else’s opinion but the bible will always have the answers that you need.
As a christian studying and reading the Mighty Word of God is so critical to our daily walk with God. Life as a Christian isn’t always bells and whistles. There are many times when I just don’t know what the end result will be but what I do know is that when I start feel as if I am getting off track I can always grab my bible to reassure me that God’s promises shall come to fruition.
I love the fact this this particular bible isn’t a journaling bible. I actually prefer to take notes in a separate journal during my study time. Secondly, can we chat about how modern the Tony Evans Bible is? Seriously Pastor Evans included a plethora of digital links (via QR Codes) to 150 videos. This is definitely the first bible of it’s kind. Everything is at the tip of your fingers. If you have an iPhone all you have to do is snap a picture of the QR Code with your camera and you’re instantly taken to the video. How’s that for a Smart Bible?
